Authors Guidelines

The Journal of Clinical Case Studies and Medical Reports (JCCSMR) welcomes high-quality manuscripts in the form of clinical case reports, case series, and related medical research that contribute to clinical knowledge and medical education.

Authors are advised to follow the guidelines below to ensure smooth processing, peer review, and publication of their work.

General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere

  • Submissions must be relevant to clinical medicine, case-based research, or medical practice

  • The manuscript must be written in clear, professional English

  • Authors are responsible for the accuracy, authenticity, and integrity of their work

Manuscript Structure

Authors should structure manuscripts as follows:

  • Title Page

  • Abstract (structured or unstructured as applicable)

  • Keywords (3–6 recommended)

  • Introduction

  • Case Presentation / Materials and Methods

  • Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • Acknowledgments (if applicable)

  • Conflict of Interest Statement

  • References

Formatting Guidelines

  • Manuscripts should be submitted in editable format (preferably MS Word)

  • Clinical images, figures, and tables must be high quality and properly labeled

  • All abbreviations must be defined at first use

  • References must be accurate and consistently formatted

  • Patient information must be anonymized to protect confidentiality

Ethical Requirements

  • Informed consent must be obtained from patients for case reports where applicable

  • Ethical approval must be provided where required by institutional guidelines

  • Patient privacy and confidentiality must be strictly maintained

  • All funding sources and conflicts of interest must be disclosed

Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s official submission system or designated communication channel. All required files, including figures and supplementary materials, must be included at the time of submission.

Peer Review and Revision
