Statement of Originality

The Journal of Cancer and Translational Oncology (JCTO) requires that all submitted manuscripts represent original scientific work that has not been published previously and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

By submitting a manuscript to the journal, authors confirm that the work is their own original contribution and that all content, including text, clinical data, experimental results, figures, tables, images, and interpretations, has been prepared honestly and accurately without fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate manipulation.

Authors must ensure that:

  • The manuscript is entirely original and free from plagiarism in any form

  • No part of the submission has been copied from other sources without proper citation

  • The manuscript has not been published in whole or in part in any journal, conference proceedings, or book

  • The manuscript is not simultaneously under review or consideration by any other publication

  • All co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission

Any use of previously published material, including clinical images, datasets, or figures, must be clearly acknowledged and properly cited. Where required, permission must be obtained for reuse of copyrighted content.

If any form of duplication, plagiarism, or ethical misconduct is detected during the review or after publication, the journal reserves the right to reject, retract, or take appropriate corrective action against the manuscript.

The Journal of Cancer and Translational Oncology maintains a strict originality policy to ensure the integrity, credibility, and scientific quality of all published research in oncology and translational medicine.
