Authors Guidelines

The Journal of Cancer and Translational Oncology (JCTO) invites high-quality, original manuscripts in the fields of oncology, cancer biology, and translational medicine. Authors are requested to carefully follow the guidelines below to ensure smooth processing, review, and publication of their work.

General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere

  • Submissions should be relevant to oncology and translational cancer research

  • The manuscript must be written in clear, professional English

Manuscript Structure

Authors should structure manuscripts in a standard scientific format:

  • Keywords (3–6 recommended)

  • Acknowledgments (if applicable)

  • References

Formatting Guidelines

  • Manuscripts should be submitted in editable format (preferably MS Word)

  • Figures, tables, and clinical images must be of high resolution and clearly labeled

  • Clinical data and images must ensure patient confidentiality and ethical compliance

  • All abbreviations must be defined at first use

  • References must be accurate, consistent, and properly formatted

Ethical Requirements

  • Studies involving human or animal subjects must comply with ethical standards and include approval details where applicable

  • Proper citation of all sources, datasets, and prior studies is mandatory

Submission Guidelines
