Withdraw Policy
The Journal of Global Economics and Finance Studies is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record while providing authors with clear and fair guidelines regarding manuscript withdrawal.
Withdrawal Before Peer Review
Authors may request withdrawal of a submitted manuscript before the peer-review process begins by sending a formal written request to the editorial office. The request must include a valid reason and be approved by all co-authors.
Withdrawal During Peer Review
If a manuscript is under peer review, authors may request withdrawal by providing a written justification. The editorial office will evaluate the request and confirm withdrawal after completing administrative checks. Authors are expected to respect the time and effort of reviewers and editors.
Withdrawal After Acceptance
Withdrawal requests after acceptance will be considered only in exceptional circumstances. Authors must provide detailed justification, and the editorial board will make a decision based on the stage of publication and ethical considerations.
Withdrawal After Publication
Once published, the article becomes part of the permanent scholarly record and cannot normally be withdrawn. In cases involving serious ethical concerns, major errors, or research misconduct, the journal may issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions in accordance with international publication ethics standards.
Author Responsibilities
Authors are required to ensure that:
-
All co-authors agree to the withdrawal request
-
The manuscript is not simultaneously submitted elsewhere during review
-
Withdrawal requests are submitted promptly and professionally
-
Honest and complete reasons are provided when requested
Editorial Authority
The editorial board reserves the right to investigate unusual or repeated withdrawal requests and may take appropriate action in cases of suspected unethical publishing behavior.
Commitment to Ethical Publishing
The Journal of Global Economics and Finance Studies upholds strict ethical publishing standards and is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, and integrity throughout the publication process.
