Peer Review Policy

The Journal of Global Economics and Finance Studies follows a rigorous and transparent peer-review process to ensure the publication of high-quality, original, and analytically sound research in economics and finance.

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to assess relevance to the journal scope, originality, and basic academic quality. Manuscripts that meet the minimum requirements are forwarded for external peer review.

The journal follows a double-blind peer-review system, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process. This ensures fairness, reduces bias, and promotes objective evaluation.

Each manuscript is typically reviewed by at least two independent experts with relevant expertise in economics, finance, econometrics, or related disciplines.

Reviewers evaluate submissions based on:

  • Originality and contribution to knowledge

  • Methodological and analytical rigor

  • Accuracy of data interpretation and economic modeling

  • Relevance to global economic and financial issues

  • Clarity, structure, and presentation quality

  • Proper use of references and academic integrity

  • Ethical compliance in research

Based on reviewer recommendations, the editorial board may decide to:

  • Accept the manuscript without revision

  • Accept with minor revisions

  • Request major revisions and resubmission

  • Reject the manuscript

When revisions are required, authors must carefully address reviewer comments and resubmit within the given timeframe. Revised manuscripts may be sent for further review before final acceptance.

All peer-review activities are conducted under strict confidentiality. Reviewers must not share, disclose, or use any unpublished information obtained during the review process.

The Journal of Global Economics and Finance Studies is committed to maintaining a fair, unbiased, and high-quality peer-review system that supports excellence in global economic and financial research.
