Plagiarism Policy
The Journal of Engineering Research and Innovations (JERI) maintains a strict anti-plagiarism policy to ensure the originality, integrity, and scientific quality of all published engineering research.
All submitted manuscripts are screened using reliable plagiarism detection tools prior to peer review. This ensures that the submitted work is original and that all sources, ideas, data, and prior research are properly acknowledged.
Plagiarism in any form is considered a serious ethical violation and is not acceptable. This includes, but is not limited to:
-
Direct copying of text, equations, diagrams, or technical content without proper citation
-
Paraphrasing substantial content from existing publications without acknowledgment
-
Self-plagiarism or duplicate publication of the author’s own previously published work without disclosure
-
Submission of overlapping or redundant research
-
Improper reuse of experimental data, designs, or results without attribution
If plagiarism is detected at any stage of the editorial or publication process, the manuscript may be:
-
Rejected before peer review
-
Returned to authors for correction and resubmission (in minor cases)
-
Retracted or withdrawn if identified after publication
Authors are fully responsible for ensuring the originality of their submissions and for properly citing all references, datasets, and prior work used in their research.
The journal follows internationally recognized publication ethics guidelines, including COPE standards, to handle all cases of suspected plagiarism in a fair, consistent, and transparent manner.
Through this policy, the Journal of Engineering Research and Innovations upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and ensures trust in engineering research and innovation.
