Peer Review Policy

The Journal of Engineering Research and Innovations (JERI) follows a rigorous and transparent peer-review process to ensure the publication of high-quality, original, and technically sound engineering research.

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their relevance to the journal scope, originality, and basic technical quality. Manuscripts that meet the initial requirements are forwarded for external peer review.

The journal follows a double-blind peer-review system, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process. This ensures impartial evaluation, reduces bias, and promotes fair academic assessment.

Each manuscript is typically reviewed by at least two independent experts with expertise in relevant engineering disciplines. Reviewers are selected based on their academic background, research experience, and subject specialization.

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:

  • Originality and innovation

  • Technical correctness and engineering validity

  • Methodological rigor and experimental/simulation quality

  • Practical relevance and applicability

  • Clarity of presentation and structure

  • Proper use of references and technical documentation

  • Ethical compliance in research and publication

Based on reviewer feedback, the editorial board may take one of the following decisions:

  • Accept the manuscript without revision

  • Accept with minor revisions

  • Request major revisions and resubmission

  • Reject the manuscript

When revisions are required, authors must address reviewer comments carefully and resubmit the revised manuscript within the given timeframe. Revised submissions may undergo further review before final acceptance.

All peer-review activities are conducted under strict confidentiality. Reviewers must not disclose, share, or use any information from manuscripts under review for personal or professional benefit.
