Plagiarism Policy
The Journal of Environmental Sustainability and Renewable Systems (JESRS) maintains a strict anti-plagiarism policy to ensure the originality, integrity, and scientific credibility of all published research.
All submitted manuscripts are screened using reliable plagiarism detection tools before entering the peer-review process. This helps ensure that submitted work is original and that all sources, data, and previously published materials are properly acknowledged.
Plagiarism in any form is considered a serious violation of publication ethics and is not acceptable. This includes, but is not limited to:
-
Direct copying of text, figures, tables, or data without proper citation
-
Paraphrasing substantial portions of published work without acknowledgment
-
Self-plagiarism or duplicate publication without disclosure
-
Submission of substantially similar manuscripts to multiple journals
-
Improper use of research data, images, or intellectual property without attribution
If plagiarism is detected at any stage of the review or publication process, the journal may take one or more of the following actions:
-
Reject the manuscript immediately
-
Request corrections and resubmission in minor cases
-
Retract or withdraw published articles when necessary
-
Notify authors’ institutions or relevant authorities in serious cases of misconduct
Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and for providing appropriate citations for all referenced materials.
The journal follows internationally recognized publication ethics guidelines, including COPE principles, in addressing all cases of suspected plagiarism fairly and transparently.
Through this policy, the Journal of Environmental Sustainability and Renewable Systems upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and promotes trustworthy, ethical, and responsible scientific publishing.
