Peer Review Policy

The Journal of Computational Mathematics and Algorithms (JCMA) follows a rigorous and transparent peer-review process to ensure the publication of high-quality, original, and mathematically sound research in computational mathematics and algorithmic sciences.

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to evaluate their relevance to the journal scope, originality, and basic scientific quality. Manuscripts that meet the initial requirements are forwarded for external peer review.

The journal follows a double-blind peer-review system, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process. This ensures impartial evaluation, reduces bias, and promotes fair academic assessment.

Each manuscript is typically reviewed by at least two independent experts with expertise in computational mathematics, algorithms, or related fields. Reviewers are selected based on their academic qualifications, research experience, and subject relevance.

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:

  • Originality and scientific novelty

  • Mathematical rigor and correctness

  • Algorithmic efficiency and validity

  • Reproducibility and methodological soundness

  • Clarity, structure, and presentation quality

  • Relevance to theoretical and applied computational research

  • Proper citation and ethical compliance

Based on reviewer feedback, the editorial board may take one of the following decisions:

  • Accept the manuscript without revision

  • Accept with minor revisions

  • Request major revisions and resubmission

  • Reject the manuscript

When revisions are required, authors are expected to carefully address reviewer comments and resubmit the revised manuscript within the specified timeframe. Revised manuscripts may be re-evaluated before final acceptance.

All peer-review activities are conducted under strict confidentiality. Reviewers must not disclose, share, or use any information from manuscripts under review for personal or professional purposes.
