Abstract

The problems of nucleation of nanoparticles (nanodroplets and nanowires) are investigates. Systems of nonlinear differential equations describing the droplet profile or nanowires obtained. We consider formula that determines the surface energy in nanodroplets or nanowires. We have shown if the nanodroplets or nanowires parameters are compared the thickness of the surface
layer dependence of the surface energy on thickness of the surface anisotropy is very important. An analytical solution of the simplest nonlinear equation is used to study the dimensional energy of surface tension for nanowires and nanodroplets.
